Launching of Women Entrepreneurs Networking Platform (WENP) – the first ever public owned digital networking platform for women entrepreneurs of Bangladesh

Women Entrepreneurs Networking Platform (WENP) – the first ever public owned digital networking platform with women entrepreneurs’ database under the commerce ministry was launched on 18th June, 2023 at CIRDAP Auditorium. Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Sr. Secretary, Ministry of Commerce graced the launching as Chief Guest. The special guests were Dr. Nomita Halder, MD, PKSF, Ms. Nusrat Jabeen Banu NDC, Adl. Sec., MoC and Prof. Sheikh Morshed Jahan, Professor, IBA, DU. In presence of notable women entrepreneurs, representatives of related stakeholders and other guests Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh inaugurated the live of the website. He said “this initiative by the government would facilitate our domestic entrepreneurs to unveil global economic business opportunities, and with such digital adaptation reaching to Smart Bangladesh Vision 2041 would be easier”. Special guests and other dignities also shared their warm remarks. Entrepreneurs can join WENP at (https://wenp.bangladeshtradeportal.gov.bd/) through self-registration or recovering profile and start their digital networking and business journey.
